Fix to Possible Wireless Issues Caused by Latest Software Update March 8, 2007
In the previous article I warned people about the possibility of encountering wireless connectivity issues on their Mac after running the latest software update. Well after playing around I have a solution to this problem. If the latest software update jeopardized your wireless connectivity, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
[eminimall]
- 1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu on the top left corner or from the icon located on your dock.
- 2. From the System Preferences window click on Network
- 3. From the list of network configurations choose and double click on Airport
- 4. Below the Airport tab, choose Preferred networks from the drop down menu
- 5. Now you will be able to view the list of wireless networks that your computer has saved over time. Delete them by selecting them one at the time and clicking on the “minus” button at the underneath the square box containing the list of saved wireless networks. You can also rather delete only the wireless network that you have trouble connecting it and that particular one only will be resolved.

Now click on Apply Now and your are done. Restart your computer and enjoy your wireless.
I suspect this could have been messed up by the latest security update
