Loading Up Your Mac January 25, 2007

Mac Thinker

Ever felt a little lonely on your Mac? Or maybe you just switched to Mac and you wonder where to find cool applications and stuff. Well don’t worry because there are plenty of things online that you can load your Mac up with.
Here is a good place to start: go to http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx

The Apple download page for Mac OS X is a repository of applications and updates by both Apple and external developers where you can find not only licensed software but also many shareware programs.

One thing that is very useful on this page is that things are very well organized and sorted.
For example, you can start by looking at the top 20 downloads, or the recently added applications, or even the staff picks. This page also provides you with a direct download link that saves you some time.

Maybe you want to customize your icons or even download cool screensavers and wallpapers for your Mac; Click on the Icons, Screensavers, etc. category under Mac OS X downloads on the left menu and make your selection.

I hope this helps. Now if someone tells you again that there are no applications for Mac, you can feel more comfortable answering “screw you”!
