Quickly Adding Attachments to Email

I had received a question about emailing a picture quickly and thought I would write a quick post about it to explain with pictures how easy it really is. This quick tutorial is for Apple Mail which of course what I use as an avid Mac fan. This isn’t narrowed down to just pictures but can be anything. The example I will be using is an .mp3 file.

All you have to do is click and drag the file, which can be anything from pictures to pdf’s, down to the Mail icon on the dock as shown in the picture below.

After dragging and leaving it on the Mail icon, you will see that Mail will open (if not already open) and a new message screen will pop up.

As you can see the file is now attached to the email and all you have to do is type the message and you’re done!
