10 Sep 2009Apple RAID Card Firmware Update 1.0 is recommend for all Mac Pro (Original and Early 2008) and Xserve (Late 2006 and Early 2008) systems with the Apple RAID card. This update requires Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server v10.5.8 or later and current EFI Boot ROM. You will need to reboot your computer as part of the update process.
The outside of the box said "Windows base machine or better", so I bought a Mac.
